Halfway through their biggest headline tour to date, Sydney hip hop duo Horrorshow have announced they’re taking part in Dry July to raise money for people affected my cancer.
They’ve set a goal of $5,000 on their Dry July campaign, which fans can contribute to online or via a donation bucket at their merch table during shows.
“Dealing with serious illness is one of the most challenging things anyone can go through, so we’re doing our part to fundraise for patients and their loved ones to help support them through these difficult times,” Horrorshow said.
“We’re also conscious of the affects alcohol can have on physical and mental health. We like to party but sometimes it’s also important to step back, take stock of your lifestyle and ask yourself – could I be looking after myself better?”
“This will be tricky for us while we’re out on the road having late nights in environments surrounded by alcohol – but we’re committed to doing our part to help provide support and assistance to cancer patients and those close to them.”
Horrowshow’s tour – proudly supported by The Music and in support of their fourth album, Bardo State - continues this weekend in NSW before taking on Tasmania, Adelaide, Darwin and Alice Springs.
