It's been 12 years since her first solo work was released and now ARIA Award-winning artist Sarah McLeod is set to release her brand new album this August, Rocky's Diner, while also announcing a huge headline national tour.
Written during a three-month stint living in Brookyln, The Superjesus singer said she isolated herself in the city to work on the album.
"I took my whole studio set up in a Samsonite hard case," McLeod said.
"Desktop computer and all, wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. There was zero room for clothes except for what I was wearing, I figured I'd buy more clothes when I got there. I wasn't planning on going anywhere so I didn't need much, the lack of party attire would hopefully eliminate any temptation to party, I was here to work."
With the LP due out on 18 August via Kobalt, McLeod has given fans a taste of what the album is all about with first single, Giants; check out the music video below.
Meanwhile, McLeod's Aussie run will kick off just days after the Rocky's Diner release, with shows slated in for Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
