Josh Pyke Talks Basement Birds & Embracing Darkness On New Web Doco Episode

Josh Pyke’s sound has transformed quite a bit since the release of his debut album, Memories & Dust, ten years ago - something quite apparent when comparing the songs on his Best Of + Rarities & B Sides LP, which is out today.

In the latest instalment of his web documentary, Pyke discusses the challenging path to Only Sparrows, which sheds some light into his songwriting shift, partly attributed to Kav Temperley, Kevin Mitchell and Steve Parkin project, Basement Birds.
