Some of Australia's best musicians are coming together to celebrate the music of The Beatles' first five albums on a national tour.

Starting this September, Kevin Mitchell (Jebediah, Bob Evans), Jack Jones (touring member for John Farnham, Tina Arena, Richard Clapton), Wes Carr (Buffalo Tales), Paul Gray (Wa Wa Nee) and Ciaran Gribbin (INXS) will embark on a run through Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne to perform Please Please Me, With The Beatles, Beatles For Sale, A Hard Day's Night and Help! in full.

"No-one has inspired me as much as the 'Fab Four'," Jones said.

"And as each year passes, they solidify themselves as a band that pushed the envelope of how we make albums to this day. And yes, I said albums."

Tickets go on sale from 26 June — check out theGuide for more info.
