Sydney outfit DEN have been squirreled away for much of this year working on their impending debut album, but they've re-emerged with a new member to undertake some shows in Sydney and Victoria over the next couple of months.
The genre-bending post-punk band — with fresh addition Greta Balog (aka Greta Now) in tow — will kick off at the No Refunds event at the Bald Faced Stag (with Melbourne's Exek) on 22 June before following up early next month at The Gaelic; from there they head south to play The Eastern, in Ballarat, and Melbourne's iconic The Tote in mid-July.
Supports for the shows are yet to be announced, but tickets are available now.
The band are expected to release their debut album — which, notably, was written in an old WWII bunker and recorded in the Marrickville studio of band member Michael Grossman — in early 2018 via Rice Is Nice.
At least we've still got their excellent debut EP to tide us over till then.
Get along to theGuide for all the details on their upcoming shows.
