Melbourne indie punk rockers Birdhouse will hit the road this June to celebrate the release of their newly announced sophomore EP, I've Got Something To Tell You.
If new single The Garden is anything to go by (the original EP cut coming in at eight minutes), the quartet has got quite a lot to get off their chest.
"The Garden is about lots of things for me. On one hand, the lyrics talk about a lonely character convincing themselves that they're better off alone," said vocalist Danny Smith.
"More broadly, it's about confusion and unexpressed states of consciousness yearning for something more."
"We tried to move from the fairly safe realm and record some of our more varied songs,” added guitarist Nick Tamaikis.
The band’s 10-date EP tour runs through June to early August, with all dates and other info in theGuide.
