The 2017 Mornington Winter Jazz & Blues Festival has it all

Main Street Mornington will be abuzz this Queens Birthday long weekend with the sights and sounds of the fifth Mornington Winter Jazz and Blues Festival from 9th to 11th June 2017.

The Jazz and Blues Festival is a 3 day celebration of Music, Art and Heritage where bars and restaurants come alive with the sound of swingin’ jazz and smooth blues all weekend long. There is a showcase of entertainment including the ever popular Main Street "Festival" Market on Saturday from 9am – 3pm, with unique stalls and free kids entertainment to keep little ones captivated all day long.

The cornerstone of the festival is the dynamic music program featuring performances from Australian icon Kate Ceberano, jazz maestro James Morrison, and Jazz Bell Award winner Olivia Chindamo as well as performances from Kylie Auldist, Wilbur Wilde, Fem Belling, Misty Blues Burlesque and a very special afternoon of Peninsula Blues showcased in a back to back spectacular to close out the festival on Sunday.

The 2017 Mornington Winter Jazz Festival line up has something for everyone.

Ticketed performances will see Mornington ablaze with jazz and atmosphere. In addition, FREE jazz and music performances will be held in venues across Mornington all weekend. Also running across the weekend will be, Guided Historic Walking Tours of the township and rides on the steam locomotives of the Historic Mornington Railway.
