Byron Bay metalcore act In Hearts Wake and rocker Bernard Fanning will be going head to head for the top spot on the ARIA charts this week, with both acts set to finish in the top three.
With their fourth album, Ark, in hand, this could be a chance for In Hearts Wake to top the #2 position they scored in 2015 with Skydancer.
Similarly, Bernard Fanning also got very close to a top debut last year and will also be attempting to beat the #2 debut he made with Civil Dusk last year, the companion album to Brutal Dawn.
Marking its 50th birthday this year, The Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band will also aim for the pointy end of the ARIA chart this week, expecting to land in the top five.
Other notable debuts this week include Frenzal Rhomb's Hi-Vis High Tea, Cable Ties' self-titled debut album and Lil Yachty's Teenage Emotions.
Over on the Singles chart, the only Aussie musician debuting this week is Troye Sivan in collaboration with Martin Garrix for new single There For You, expected to land somewhere in the top 30.
