The release of a Best Of compilation for an artist is often accompanied by a sense of nostalgia, and for Aussie troubadour Josh Pyke, it’s a process he’s channelled into a web documentary.

The first webisode has just been released, with an additional five roll out every Sunday until July 2 and the full documentary available on July 9.

The debut clip includes live footage and interviews from 2007 (featuring a 10-year-old Splendour set and MySpace analysis) and covers his transition from his punk rock days playing in An Empty Flight to becoming a solo artist, and the inevitable challenges and rewards that come along with making music your career. Best Of, B-Sides & Rarities is out June 30 via Ivy League Records - featuring new single Into The Wind, which is out today – and will be accompanied by a 12-date headline tour across July and August.
