Through a recreation of a kind of people's court, this immersive experience will see you step into the shoes of a refugee. TRIBUNAL goes beyond storytelling and places you in direct conversation with asylum seekers who have arrived on Australian shores in recent years.
TRIBUNAL is an ambitious participatory performance project that brings together Indigenous Elders, artists, human rights activists, young leaders and outlaws. An Australian Truth and Reconciliation Tribunal will be created to interrogate and explore notions of truth and lies around the labels of 'refugee' and 'asylum seeker'.
