Ed Sheeran has officially broken the Australasian touring record after announcing yet another round of gigs for his 2018 tour of the country.
The UK artist takes the tally to 18 stadium shows, breezing past AC/DC's record of 14 back in 2010.
The newly-announced shows next March include a second at Perth Stadium, a fourth at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium and a third at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, as well as a third Dunedin gig in April.
"I've always loved coming to Australia and New Zealand," Sheeran said in a statement.
"So many amazing musicians have toured there and I am humbled to have broken these records."
Tickets for all of the new concerts go on sale from 1pm on Thursday, 1 June.
The announcement comes as Sheeran teams up with Frontier Touring to combat ticket scalpers, after it was found this week that scalpers were selling tickets for the sold-out gigs for up to $3500 online.
