Having unveiled their debut album in recent weeks, WA electronic outfit Crooked Colours have locked down a headline tour in support.
The highly anticipated LP from the rising stars, Vera, will drop on June 23 via Sweat It Out before they head out on an August tour, alongside performances at WA’s State Of The Art and Wollongong festival Yours And Owls.
The two album cuts already released – Flow and Ivan Ooze collab I Hope You Get It – have developed a wealth of international buzz, amplified by a Crystal Castles tour support (four dates kicking off this Thursday) and a strong festival presence appearing on the likes of Groovin The Moo, Wonderland and Southbound.
Crooked Colours’ Vera headline tour hits Karova Lounge, Ballarat (4 Aug), Corner Hotel, Melbourne (5 Aug), Oxford Art Factory, Sydney (11 Aug), Woolly Mammoth, Brisbane (12 Aug), Fat Controller, Adelaide (17 Aug), and Jack Rabbit Slims, Perth (18 Aug).
Sydney producer Muto will support with tickets available from the band’s website this Thursday from 9am local time.
