Despite being the favourite to take out top spot yet again this week, Ed Sheeran has been pushed from #1 on the ARIA Albums chart by fellow UK artist, Harry Styles.
The One Direction member's self-titled debut album has claimed the honours, not only beating Sheeran, but also Paramore whose new LP, After Laughter, debuted at #3.
It's not all bad news for Sheeran, however. Thanks to news of his 2018 Australian tour going gangbusters, the Grammy Award-winning songwriter's previous records have both flown up the chart, with 2014's X coming in at #6 and 2011's + placing at #14.
Other albums debuting on the chart this week include Zac Brown Band's Welcome Home (#8), Dead Letter Circus' The Endless Mile (#17), Dean Lewis' Same Kind Of Different (#27), Seether's Poison The Parish (#29), Machine Gun Kelly's Bloom (#37) and Midnight Oil's new boxset, The Full Tank (#38).
On the Singles chart, Puerto Rican artist Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee have surprised everyone after climbing from #4 last week to top spot with Despacito, featuring Justin Bieber.
The track has pushed DJ Khaled's star-studded hit I'm The One, featuring Bieber Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne down to #2, while Miley Cyrus' Malibu has debuted at #3.
