With Splendour In The Grass in their sights, Geelong-born R&B/garage outfit The Murlocs have announced a new album, dropped a new single and confirmed a headline tour.
After selling out dates on their national Young Blindness tour the past few months, they’re wasting no time as they prepare for a July release for third LP Old Locomotive, produced by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard frontman Stu Mackenzie.
"In today’s future of webcam music, conventional bands might often be seen as a dying breed,” vocalist Ambrose Kenny-Smith said.
“Old Locomotive stands against rock’n’roll extinction. From start to finish each song approaches the face of abandonment and the continuous search for a better alternative.”
