A leader in live music across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the Max Watt's family is moving from strength to strength and today announces its new booking and marketing teams.

Nathan Farrell of Nathan Farrell Entertainment (NFE) takes on the role of Sydney booker, Tom Johanssen continues his role booking the Melbourne venue and Social State Director and Co-Founder Jesse Barbera takes the reigns for the Brisbane room.

Strengthening the power behind this family of venues and booking team, booking and venue marketing collective Social State have also taken the marketing reigns across all venues.

Social State co-founder and director Jesse Barbera says the amalgamated marketing approach is already delivering results. "Social State is rolling out fully integrated marketing, digital, social media and publicity support services across every one of its 18 venues. Our venue booker and marketer Cael Johnston has been heading up this process and we're already seeing a huge return for promoters."

Speaking of the progress, Tom Johannsen (who has been on board with Max Watt's Melbourne for almost a year now) says working with the team at Max Watt's has been great. "Max Watt's resounding commitment to deliver superior live music events has resulted in a full calendar, with many artists shows rolling into multiple performances," he says.

"Max Watt's Melbourne now boasts upgraded Production, LED wall and a national mailing list of 300,000. The venue has taken the live music experience to greater heights and this has been met with next level support from excited, true music fans and will continue to rise in the second half of 2017."

Newest member of the team, Nathan Farrell is excited to take on the Sydney space. "I've personally been enjoying shows in the venue for over a decade since it opened as The Forum. Its a state of the art room with great production, sightlines and great capacity at 1500. It's currently feels under-utilised in the Sydney live venue market and we can't wait to host some amazing artists from here and abroad."

All venues have undertaken cosmetic and operational improvements over the last year and it's paying off. With fresh teams eager to deliver the best experience for true music fans, there's never been a better time to catch a show at Max Watt's.
