Australian representative for Denmark, Anja Nissen, will be competing against 17-year-old Australian competitor Isaiah Firebrace for the Eurovision top spot this weekend, having emerged victorious from this morning's second semi-final.

As News Limited reports, the 21-year-old — who won The Voice back in 2014 — dished up a powerful performance of her song, Where I Am, to huge cheers.

She told News Limited, "It means so much to me. It feels like I have really been accepted by my country having an Australian background and Danish heritage.

"I have been lucky to be accepted by both of my homelands."

Nissen was selected to go through to Sunday's Grand Final alongside Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Romania, Norway, The Netherlands and Austria all from the second semi-final.
