Rising star Tash Sultana has been forced to withdraw from Groovin The Moo Maitland today following an ongoing illness.
The last-minute announcement via the multi-instrumentalist’s Facebook is due to laryngitis, which also resulted in two Sydney shows being rescheduled earlier this week.
Sultana did, however, perform Groovin The Moo Oakbank yesterday.
“Unfortunately I have to pull out of GTM today as I still have laryngitis & singing could risk permanent damage,” Sultana said.
“Cancelling a show is something I've never done before in my career and I can't explain how upsetting it is for me.”
Amy Shark will now play Sultana’s slot on the Cattleyard stage (4:10pm-4:50pm) while Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis is added to the festival and takes Shark’s original Moolin Rouge stage time.
