Brisbane pop rockers Hey Geronimo have been hard at work on their sophomore effort of late, this morning announcing that they'll be debuting a bunch of new tunes on an east coast tour this June.
One of these tunes is brand new single, Mutant, a play-by-play of the two embarrassingly drunken times that Hey Geronimo singer Pete Kilroy met Aussie treasure Courtney Barnett.
"I think turning into a ‘mutant’ around somebody you like is a phenomenon every single person over the legal drinking age has experienced. Not all of us have experienced it with Courtney Barnett (and for the record I am still pretty embarrassed) but it does make for a great story," Kilroy says.
The quartet will be hitting up Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this June/July.
