March 1977 was the very first time music icon Alice Cooper toured Australia and to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his debut trip, the architect of shock rock has confirmed he will head back to the country this year for a headline tour.
Cooper will play out a seven-date run in October, with shows confirmed in Perth, Thebarton, Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Melbourne.
If that wasn't already big enough, original KISS Spaceman, Ace Frehley, has been confirmed as the very special guest for the entire tour.
"I have been friends with Alice since the '70s, but I've never had the pleasure of touring with him," Frehley said.
"Our tour of Australia in October this year will be a major rock'n'roll event Down Under and leave all our fans with big smiles and wanting more! I can't wait to hit the road!"
Tickets will be available to the general public from 9am on Friday, 28 April. For a look at all of the dates, head to theGuide.
