Ascendant Melburnian three-piece Cable Ties are going to be super-busy over the next few months, announcing release details for their debut album and accompanying tour dates, plus the new video clip for recent single Say What You Mean, today.

The punk trio will release their self-titled first full-length via Poison City Records on Friday 26 May, putting the record out digitally and on vinyl.

The eight-track album will precede the band's upcoming tour, which kicks off on Friday 2 June at The Eastern, in Ballarat, before heading through Castlemaine, Hobart, Melbourne (hometown launch show, woooo!), Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and Adelaide over the next month and a bit.

They'll be joined by a raft of mates serving as supports throughout the run, including TV Haze, Loobs, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Loose Tooth, Various Asses, Infinite Void, Hexdebt, Cruise Control, Marville and more yet to be announced.

See theGuide for full rundown of details.

If you can't wait that long, you'll be stoked to know — so long as you're local — that the band will be playing a free all-ages in-store event at Poison City today from 5.30pm.
