Having just announced an east coast tour in support of their newest single, We Don't Know, we asked Melburnian folk rock five-piece Run Rabbit Run what their top ten folk/folk rock tracks of all time are.

It's a solid list, so take a listen to the tracks below.

The band's tour kicked off on 11 February.

Fleet Foxes - The Shrine/An Argument

Michael: This song kinda blew my mind and showed me how many directions you can take a song without sticking to ‘verse-chorus-verse-chorus’ standard formula.

Julia Jacklin – Motherland

Casey: It was a toss up between this song and Pool Party, but the chorus in Motherland just wipes me out. It’s comes so late into the song and it’s just flawless. Julia’s voice is out of this world beautiful!

Freya Josephine Hollick - A Man is the Water

Casey: I’m not quite sure how I came across Freya, I think she just popped up on Facebook one time, but I haven’t stopped listening to her since I first heard this song. It’s like getting thrown back in time.

Bahamas – Lost in the Light

Felicity: I did backing vocals for this song for a TAFE performance a couple of years ago. Absolutely love this tune.

Grizzly Bear – Yet Again

Michael: I often catch myself singing the first verse to this song. It’s so damn catchy!

Ainslie Wills – Drive

Michael: This was my favourite song of 2015 and it always stops me in my tracks when I hear it get played.

Noah & the Whale – Give a Little Love

Casey: Although NATW’s second album The First Days of Spring was a much more important album for me than the one this track is from, this particular song means a whole lot to me. NATW were a huge part of why I became interested in folk music, and this song inspired much of how I approach song writing. It was also a big part of why we incorporated Indian harmonium into our tunes.

Feist - Undiscovered First

Michael: The texture and rawness of this track is so beautiful, and when it erupts into the final chorus you can’t help but feel like you can climb any mountain you can see.

Boy and Bear - Golden Jubilee

Casey: The Moonfire album was basically my go to driving album for months and months. I remember going nuts singing along in the car every time Golden Jubilee came on. It’s such a kickin’ summer tune.

Hey Rosetta – Trish’s Song

Felicity: I was first introduced to Hey Rosetta when Casey lent me all their albums. I love heaps of their songs, but this one really gets me. It’s so raw and emotional, and the harmonies just take it somewhere incredible.
