Melbourne-based garage-rock rascals The Pretty Littles are set to hit the road for a seven-date run of shows dubbed the Helluva Tuesdi tour, in honour of the band's brand new single of the same name.

Taken from The Pretty Littles' lauded fourth full-length, Soft Rock For The Anxious, Helluva Tuesdi is a typically raucous affair, all vocal snarl and guitar fuzz backed up with urgent, driving drum and bass.

This is a band that doesn't shy away from the rougher edges in life, but they use those fraying seams to their great advantage, imbuing their tunes with a distinct authenticity and energy that helps set The Pretty Littles apart as key torchbearers for the Australian garage sound.

The Pretty Littles kick off their Helluva Tuesdi tour at Party In The Paddock, Launceston, on 10 February, lying low for a couple of weeks before getting back into it from Saturday 4 March, when they hit Howler in Melbourne. They've also got shows lined up in Bondi (El Topo Basement), Newcastle (Cambridge Hotel, with Ceres), Geelong (Wool Exchange, with The Living End), at The Meadow Festival, in Bambra, and Frankston's Pier Live (with The Living End).

Given the band are already at work on writing album #5, it'd be a good time to make a date with The Pretty Littles to send off Soft Rock For The Anxious in style.

Hear Helluva Tuesdi below, and scope out theGuide for all the tour details.
