Melburnian rockers My Echo have announced their debut album titled Brothers this week, along with news of a huge east coast album tour in support of it.
The album, centred around the quartet's growing bond as they dealt with vocalist Brenton Perry's illness, has already spawned singles Old And Grey and Boys In Blue, along with another new one today called Meet You There.
Drummer Henry Hollingsworth says of the album, "Something I'll never forget was when Damo (our booker) pulled me aside and mentioned how proud of us he was that we had stuck together like brothers. I'd never thought of it as an achievement. To me it was really the only option and something none of us gave a second thought to, but what stayed with me was the brothers reference. We were like brothers. We always will be."
The band will set off on a tour this February 24, starting off from Adelaide and making their way through Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
