Prolific Aussie singer-songwriter Jeff Lang has confirmed his new album, Alone In Bad Company, will drop next month before a national tour in support rolls out from March.
A maestro of all things blues and folk, the next chapter in Lang’s story kicks off with album cut Burnside, showcasing infectious, rapid fingerpicking and haunting soul-fuelled vocals.
But that’s not necessarily indicative of the overall vibe of the album, with slide guitar, banjos and more promised alongside collaborations from Danny McKenna, Allison Ferrier and Don Walker.
With Alone In Bad Company set to drop Feb 24 via ABC Music, there’ll be plenty of time to become familiar with the new material before Lang hits the road on a tour proudly presented by The Music.
