Though she has already announced a string of sideshows in support of her 2017 Bluesfest appearance, the iconic Patti Smith has today announced details for the last show she will ever play in Australia.

The Chicago-born singer will perform her final gig at Melbourne's Festival Hall on Tuesday 20 April, where she will be joined by very special guest and Aussie favourite, Courtney Barnett.

The newly-announced show is currently Barnett's only scheduled show for 2017.

Pre-sale tickets for the Festival Hall show are on sale now, before they are available to the general public from 10am this coming Monday (23 January).
