Aether Sessions Returns To Brisbane's Woolly Mammoth for Round 4

After a successful run of just three bi-monthly events in 2016, AETHER Sessions is returning for another round in January '17, paving the way for an exciting year of ambient, experimental and progressive music.

The event began in mid 2016, ambitiously organised by three Brisbane-based music-lovers with the intention of creating a new kind of experience for bands and punters alike. Every AETHER Sessions showcase comes complete with fairy lights, hanging displays and glowing lantern decorations; not to mention the ever-changing visual projections and stellar line-up of musical acts from Brisbane and beyond.

What makes AETHER Sessions really stand out from the others is the addition of cushions, inflatables, blankets and milk crates scattered across the floor to provide the ultimate chill-out experience for punters.

The upcoming Session #4 will feature performances from experimental Jazz quartet Jive Canyon; the one-man, ambient guitar-looping project agrammeofsoma; the reverby, dream-pop band Ultra Material, and finally, the ambient electronica of Lismore's Tralala Blip.

The audio-visual feast begins at 8pm on Friday, January 13th, on the Woolly Mammoth Mane Stage.
