Silver Raven Festival Announces A Stellar 2017 Line-up!

Silver Raven Festival, the boutique Americana music festival that burst onto the scene in April 2016, has today announced its stellar 2017 lineup!

Headliners STRAND OF OAKS are set to bring their uniquely earth-shattering sound straight from the badlands of Philadelphia and will be joined on the bill by Nashville's JONNY FRITZ and San Francisco's SONNY & THE SUNSETS alongside Australian legends HENRY WAGONS & THE ONLY CHILDREN, JEN CLOHER (with her rocking band feat. COURTNEY BARNETT, BONES SLOANE and JEN SHOLAKIS ), WA via Nashville's RUBY BOOTS, Melbourne's LOST RAGAS and Adelaide's THE SAN SEBASTIAN (Dan and Joel Crannitch from Leader Cheetah's new band) and WANDERERS (formerly Wasted Wanderers).

Silver Raven Festival is partnering with the Barossa Vintage Festival, which celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2017. Barossa Vintage Festival Director, Andrew Dundon, says of the partnership "We are thrilled to see the cherished traditions of the Barossa Vintage Festival bolstered with new marquee events like Silver Raven. The 2016 Silver Raven Festival was one of the best music festivals I have seen in South Australia and will only continue to grow in its success."

Proving that wineries are the new venues for live music Silver Raven Festival will return to the picturesque gardens of Turkey Flat Vineyards in the Barossa Valley. Silver Raven director Alex Schulz says "The stunning success of our inaugural event, including a finalist position in the coveted SA Music Awards, attests that regional events such as this are the key to reinvigorating the spirit of music events in South Australia."

Music will be matched with the Barossa doing what the Barossa does best; food & beverage experiences. Wines by Turkey Flat will sit happily alongside brews from the crew at Pirate Life while the food experience will be expanded from the 2016 event. Smokey barbecue from the team at Are You Game?, vegetarian treats from Forage Supply Co, Mexican bites from TacoCat will be on offer with Little Blue Van and Barossa Valley Ice-cream Company keeping the caffeine and sweet treats coming.

Barossa Vintage Festival The Barossa Vintage Festival program showcases over 90 events over a five-day period (April 19-23) and features a host of dynamic events that showcase the Barossa , its food, wine and culture.
