Having played a sold-out run of A Day On The Green dates back in March, US icons Violent Femmes alongside Aussie legends Hoodoo Gurus were so stoked with the whole play-tunes-in-wineries arrangement, they've signed up for another two regional shows of the same nature.

The two gigs will also feature maddening-awesome bills with The Whitlams, Tim Rogers and Models.

Violent Femmes' Brian Ritchie, who also curates MONA FOMA festival, says, "A Day On The Green defies belief by running the gamut of human emotion.

"The power of the Gurus, absurdity of the Femmes, pathos of The Whitlams, horniness of Tim Rogers and mystery of Models combine to remind us of everything that is good about humanity in this otherwise bleak time."

The bands will play two A Day On The Green shows — one at All Saints Estate in Victoria and another in Annie's Lane in SA next March.
