Festival Of The Sun 2016 Experiences Quickest Sellout In Its History

With the 2016 Festival Of The Sun just two months away, it has today been announced that the event has officially sold out, in what is the quickest sellout in the festival's 12-year history. 

"We decided to extend the festival again this year with even more bands, and our loyal festival fans have responded fast," festival director Simon Luke said.

"We also feel the addition of our FOTSUN Thursday has been a big winner for the festival and this year we are including comedy on our early arrivals night, which we can’t wait for!"

The Thursday right before FOTSUN kicks off the following day will feature comedy spots from Anna Wilson, Gen Frickar and Luke Heggie, as well as artist village and graffiti workshops from Sigh Luxton.

This year's festival, taking place from 9-10 December at Port Macquarie Breakwall Holiday Park, is to be headlined by Gang Of Youths and Seth Sentry.

Other acts include Montaigne, The Smith Street Band, Tash Sultana, Urthboy and many more.
