Hailed as one of the greatest live performers of all time, US rock legend Bruce Springsteen has confirmed a month-long Aussie tour for 2017.
Following on from a memorable sold out tour in 2014, The Boss and The E Street Band will undertake one of their biggest Australian stints yet across January and February, taking in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Mt Macedon and Hunter Valley.
The summer dates will follow on from the release of his aptly titled autobiography, Born To Run, which drops later this month alongside audio companion/best of Chapter And Verse, delivering five unreleased tunes.
If that wasn’t enough, the support acts have already been announced with Jet reforming for Melbourne, Hanging Rock and Hunter Valley, while Diesel kicks off proceedings at the later latter two.
Springteen and co also hit Christchurch for the first time ever during their accompanying New Zealand run with Marlon Williams, playing the city on the eve of the devastating 2011 earthquake anniversary; a fitting booking after 2002’s My City Of Ruins became an unofficial anthem for the event.
Frontier members pre-sale goes live next Tuesday, Sept 20, before general public are able to access tickets Friday 21 Sept.
See the Frontier website for exact times, and theGuide for all dates and other info.
