With their sophomore album, Drag It Down On You, set to drop next month, Melbourne quartet Ceres are celebrating the release by hitting the road for a national tour this November and December.
In the works since the release of their 2014 debut offering, I Don't Want To Be Anywhere But Here, the new LP was finally recorded over, as the band say, "one long, funny, emotional, frustrating, incredible, life-affirming" fortnight in March.
Ceres will kick off the tour in their hometown, before moving on to play in Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney, as well as at Launceston's Till The Wheels Fall Off festival.
Meanwhile, the lads are also stoked to announce that they've just signed to US indie label No Sleep Records who boast names such as The Wonder Years and Moose Blood.
"We are beyond excited to bring the Ceres guys into the No Sleep family," owner, president and A&R of the label, Chris Hansen, said.
"Ever since hearing I Don't Want To Be Anywhere But Here I have been a huge fan of the guys and to have them be a part of No Sleep now is amazing. We can't wait to help these guys take over."
