The Black Swamp Album Launch

After a triumphant 2015, culminating in supports for Black Label Society and Hellyeah, The Black Swamp bunkered down from the beginning of 2016 to write for their debut full length, 'I Am'. October 6th will see a long awaited return to the stage for the band, with the new album set to get the heads nodding and the beers flowing once more!

This raw, nostalgic and visceral heavy metal offering (out Sept 29th) will see the band expand their catalogue of riffage and their underground presence in the Australian heavy music scene. 'I Am' is a true record, in both the literal and figurative sense of the word. The band engages in tonal shifts from reflection to utter commotion or light to dark, theme's which are centric to this new record and the artistic imagery binding it.

Of course, live is where The Swamp thrives. The direct vocal delivery, focussed riffs and big grooves throughout 'I Am' are guaranteed to throw the hooks into old and new show goers alike! With a live show that compelled Sebastian Bach to comment that TBS reminded him of his old touring pals Pantera, be sure The Swamp are more than capable party starters!
