Aussie legends The Superjesus are set to drop new EP Love & Violence next month and to celebrate, the band will be hitting the road for a national tour this October.
The trio will kick off the shows in Sydney, followed by stops in Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Byron Bay and Brisbane.
And to hold you over until then, The Superjesus have given fans just a taste of the new material with the release of a new single, the third from the EP and the first written when the group reformed in 2013.
"We had performed one show at The Gov in Adelaide to see if we still had the vibe. After that we came home and started exchanging ideas immediately," singer Sarah McLeod recalled of the new title track.
"Love And Violence was the first cab off the rank. It's about the uncontrollable extremities of emotional connections."
Commenting on the EP, Mcleod added, "We had all grown so much musically in the ten years since we broke up, and each member brought to the table everything they had learned in the outside world."
