As the next instalment of triple j’s widely popular One Night Stand fast approaches, the station has named local Geraldton act Alex The Kid as their Unearthed winner, securing the punk rockers a spot on the massive regional event.
The annual small-town shindig will consume Geraldton on Saturday 9 April, setting up at Wonthella Oval and hosting Alison Wonderland, Boy & Bear, Urthboy, SAFIA's Benjamin Joseph, Bernard Fanning and more.
Alex The Kid are working on new music at the moment for a soon-to-be-announced release, but in the meantime, check out the band’s latest single, Vinyls which draws fondly on their hometown.
