Kicking off a massive year of killer shows The Croxton Bandroom announce New Zealand dub rock reggae fusionists Sons Of Zion will bring their solid R&B flavoured grooves to the Bandroom on Saturday April 16^th, 2016.

Sons Of Zion, with their unique fusion of rock, dub, R&B, with the foundation of reggae stand out from the rest. From humble beginnings, a drive to create, tour, make music and a commitment to their fans and followers, the four piece have gained huge popularity. They have performed alongside some of the industry’s biggest names at festivals across Australia, New Zealand and more recently in the U.S. featuring at the May Jah Rayjah Music Festival in both Oahu and Maui.

Sons Of Zion are in extremely high demand this summer in New Zealand touring with Katchafire, Kora, Black Seeds and Ladi 6, and performing at Rhythm N Alps, East Coast Vibes, One Love and Home-grown music festivals. Sons Of Zion have re-signed to Sony NZ after the success of their second album Universal Love which features local hits Good Love, Tell Her and Superman.

Their most recent releases I’m Ready and Fill Me Up charted at #2 and #7 respectively on the NZ music charts. Now their success is starting to spread worldwide with three #1 singles in Hawaii, a U.S. mainland tour set for June 2016 along with a return performance at the May Jah Rayjah Music Festival, along with sets at Trenchfest Guam and Island Reggae Festival in California.
