The Basics
Internationally–acclaimed Australian trio The Basics—Kris Schroeder, Wally De Backer (aka Gotye) and Tim Heath—have challenged and delighted fans and critics alike in their decade–long foray on the fringes of the Australian music scene. Their latest offering will once again be one of 2015’s must–see events.
Drawing their sound from a wide range of influences, The Basic’s eclectic back catalogue spans everything from reggae and ska to indie and electro–pop while sustaining their distinct tone.
Launching their first studio album in six years—The Age Of Entitlement—The Basics promise to push boundaries and introduce a whole new way of experiencing live music by recreating the LP in an inclusive 360° in–the–round encounter.
