Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden have confirmed the dates for their forthcoming Australian tour which the band announced last month metal legends will play Brisbane on May 4, Sydney on May 6, Melbourne on May 9, Adelaide on May 12 and Perth on May 14.

The Aussie leg is part of a massive tour next year that will see the band playing in 35 countries including their first ever dates in China and El Salvador. Frontman Bruce Dickinson is currently in training to pilot the Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet - aka Ed Force One - that will transport the 12 tons of equipment needed to stage an Iron Maiden show. The tours marks the release of Maiden's new double album The Book of Souls, which debuted at #2 in the Aussie charts this week.

Tickets for all the Australian shows go on sale to the general public at 12 noon (local time) on Thursday, September 24
