MUSIC
Do you like thumping electronic dance music performed by really, really ridiculously good-looking people? Firstly, of course you do, you've got two ears and a heart don't you, and also, you're in luck because mega-babes Gold Fields are joining forces with the Khaleesi of the dance scene KLP for one hell of a co-headline LIVE tour this June.
Presented by ya m8s Music Feeds, the BallaRat pack and purveyor of house party perfection will be linking arms and skipping around the country in a matter of weeks supporting some new music, including brand spanker Lakeside from Gold Fields, which will be dropping on the eve of the tour on June 18, alongside a collaborative track with Kristy Lee, Make Me Feel, which will be offered totally free to your no-doubt already salivating ear-holes (Ew, sorry for that image).
Gold Fields first landed on the scene with an emphatic, electronic thud in 2011 with a super hyped self-titled EP and a critically acclaimed debut album Black Sun in 2013, and are promising a return to their tribal infused synth-pop jams this year, albeit with a slightly darker edge. These run of shows with KLP will be their first Aussie shows in nearly two years after sowing their seeds across the globe, including a hectic US tour.
Known across the country as the host of Triple J's House Party each week, KLP is more than just your average deck-hound, with mad dog producer and vocalist skills combining to make her a force to be reckoned with. Having impressed us most recently with a joint single with Brisbane producer Young Franco Talkin' Bout It, and a rightfully rowdy KLParty DJ Tour, Kristy Lee seems destined to reign over the Aus scene for quite sometime and we can't wait for her full live set next month.
Tickets for the tour are on sale right fricken' now, so get involved, as we don't expect them to last long. Grab the deets and ticket links below!
