Over the course of six critically acclaimed albums, Atlanta's Mastodon have been setting the pace for modern heavy metal. First bursting onto the scene with 2002's unrelenting Remission, demanding everyone's attention with 2004's landmark Leviathan, and cementing themselves as a visionary force in metal with 2009's Crack the Skye.
Now, touring off the back of one of their most ambitious efforts to date, Once More 'Round the Sun, Mastodon will finally be embarking on what Australian fans have been waiting over a decade for. This March, the band will play their first solo headline shows Down Under, a run that is sure to wow fans once again.
