Live Nation presents
ANDY ZALTZMAN
SATIRIST FOR HIRE
ANDY ZALTZMAN, the British-based half of global hit podcast The Bugle with John Oliver, brings his uniquely interactive new show Satirist for Hire to Australia and New Zealand, giving audiences the chance to have the issues they care about satirise to order by one of Britain's leading political comedians.

Whether a general grumble or a specific bleat about a global, local or personal issue, audience members are invited to send in their satirico-queries in advance, by email to satirisethis@satiristforhire.com (including the date of the show you will be attending). Zaltzman will then satirise the living hell out of whatever has got your goat. All issues considered. Within reason.

Following a debut stand-up tour of India with Cricket Versus The World in late 2013 - the ESPNCricinfo writer bowling over audiences in search of an answer to the ultimate question: which is better cricket, or The World? - these will be Zaltzman's debut Australasian stand-up shows, performing in Christchurch, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne.

Tickets for all shows will go on sale at 9am, Thursday December 18.

Andy Zaltzman has established himself as one of Britain's most inventive comedians with his distinctive brand of political comedy. Alongside JOHN OLIVER, Andy stars in the worldwide hit podcast, The Bugle, the weekly satirical comedy show which has gained an international following since its launch late in 2007, and now receives over 200,000 downloads per episode.

Andy has been a regular at the Edinburgh Festival since being nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award in 2001, and in 2011 performed his seventh one-man show, Armchair Revolutionary, at The Stand. In 2004 and 2005, he and John Oliver performed sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs as a double act. In 2007, Andy performed Piece Of Wood Award.

Andy and John had previously co-written and starred in the BBC Radio 4 shows The Department and Political Animal (based on their live political stand-up show). In 2009 Andy also wrote and starred in his own Radio 4 series, Andy Zaltzman's History of the Third Millennium (Series 1 of 100), and conceived and hosted Yes! It's the Ashes for BBC Radio 5Live. He has been a regular panelist on 5Live's 7 Day Sunday (and 7 Day Saturday) since its inception in 2010.

Andy has made a number of guest appearances on TV and radio, including two series of The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), The Now Show and The News Quiz (BBC Radio 4), and Bremner, Bird & Fortune (Channel 4), for which Andy also wrote for several years. Andy also appeared on Comedy Central stand-up special Terrifying Times, and performed on John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show.
