The Gold Coast's most famous stretch of sand is about to play host to some of the world's biggest artists, as summer 2014 sees the launch of BEACHLIFE - Australia's hottest new beach festival.
Grammy Award-winning DJ Skrillex and international superstars Wiz Khalifa and A$AP Rocky are confirmed to headline the two-day event, in their only Queensland shows.
Cross Promotions and Fuzzy Events in conjunction with Surfers Paradise Alliance present a weekend beach event that will showcase the Gold Coast's jewel asset - Surfers Paradise Beach. BEACHLIFE is expected to attract more than 10,000 festival goers each day, and make a significant economic contribution to the Surfers Paradise precinct.
In a major coup for the Gold Coast, world renowned Skrillex will be playing only two shows in Australia - Bondi Beach & Surfers Paradise Beach. The iconic shoreline will be transformed into 'party central' with a spectacular spaceship stage and state of the art lighting. The picture-perfect setting of blue skies and sparkling ocean is the ideal backdrop, and as the sun sets the stage is under the command of the hippest, hottest acts this summer.
With a list of support acts handpicked by the headliners, BEACHLIFE 2014 is sure to set the speed on the new era of music festivals.
