Entering its 44th year of awesome parties of all shapes and sizes to commemorate the laying of the University of Canberra's Foundation Stone, Stone Day is here to stay, and is singing a brand new tune and rocking a fresh new look in 2012. Bringing with it all the fun, festivities and atmosphere of the carnival, Stone Day 2012 boasts the theme 'Carnie Party', and will be held on Friday 26 October 2012 in and around Zierholz @ UC over four stages: THE ZIERHOLZ STAGE, THE SILENT PARTY, THE BALLY and THE CAR PARK CARNIVAL, ensuring there won't be a corner of Stone Day 2012 that isn't abuzz with party vibes.

THE ZIERHOLZ STAGE will play host to some of Australia's liveliest and most exciting acts in SAN CISCO, ALISON WONDERLAND, SKRYPTCHA, THE GRISWOLDS, SUPER BEST FRIENDS, TIN CAN RADIO, BEARS WITH GUNS, READABLE GRAFFITI and National Campus Band Competition winners DAHRNOIR.

Fast becoming a staple of this annual celebration, the very best party starters from Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and right here on our local university campuses are returning to THE SILENT PARTY this year and are sure to cause a ruckus. The battle grounds are set for STRANGEWAYS DJS, MUM DJS, CELEBRITY SEX TAPE, ARCHITECT DJS, EDDIE SHAGGZ, FRO & MO, TIT FOR TAT, DADDY ISSUES DJS, HAZAN, SAMMY SOUNDSLIKE, FELIXX, RONNIE D, NIMMO and CHIEF to fight it out for your ears and the right to make your bodies drop.

What is a carnival without freaks and a lot of laughs? THE BALLY promises to deliver all this and more! Featuring the greatest circus and freakshow stunts from around the globe, including THE WORLD'S ONLY FEMALE CHAINSAW JUGGLER; The Bally will bring the weird, the wonderful and the downright dangerous to Stone Day 2012. The Bally will also be bringing the laughs with the comedic styling's of Canberra's favourite identical twins THE STEVENSON EXPERIENCE, singer-song writer superstar RAFE MORRIS, the third funniest man to come out of Wee Jasper EMO PARSONSON, the ever un-politically correct HAMISH HUDSON and comical globetrotter KALE BOGDANOVS.

As if Stone Day 2012 couldn't get any more jam-packed, UC Live! have gone and made themselves a CAR PARK CARNIVAL! Featuring classic CARNIVAL RIDES, an epic GAMES ARENA featuring all your favourite carnival staples, SIDESHOW ALLEY, an OUTDOOR BAR and DJS the car park carnival will keep the greatest show on earth rocking in every corner.
