Responsible for some of the strongest formative industry chatter in some time, Brisbane's Art of Sleeping are following the success of two radio singles with a full scale headline tour. The lads are packing their bags and hitting the dusty trail with promising Sydney pals Tigertown.
Leading the charge in March, the band's first single 'Empty Hands' proved equal parts instant and accessible and had listeners scrambling to hear it again and again. The subsequent 'Above The Water' adds more substance to the accessible melodies and intricate musicianship and paves the way solidly for the bands forthcoming EP, which is set to be unleashed very soon.
Similarly - with the heart and charm of singer and songwriter Caleb Hodges at the forefront - the five-piece's live show is seeing to it that their audience swells with each and every show. Having only toured twice nationally - once supporting Owl Eyes, the other a debut headline jaunt to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne - they are sure to be a highlight on Australia's touring circuit in no time.
Touring buddies Tigertown are the ideal complement for Art of Sleeping with their folk-driven dream pop, flawless harmonies and a cannon of perfect pop songs such as their latest single 'Lions and Witches' and live highlight 'Go Now'.
