State of the Art
A celebration of WA music!

Celebrate WA is very proud to present the biggest celebration of Western Australian contemporary music ever held in WA!

A premium selection of home-grown stars in all music styles will come together for an inspiring one day event to be held in and around the prestigious Perth Concert Hall on Sunday 3 June between midday and 11.00pm.

The event will feature a local line up with combined record sales exceeding 2 million and literally thousands of live shows under their belts to show you what we are made of.

Western Australian music has come a very long way and is now very influential on the world stage. State of the Art is all about celebrating the unique and brilliant musicians born and bred in WA.

Watch the Concert Hall come alive with three major artist showcases inside headlined by platinum selling WA greats DRAPHT (Hip-Hop Session), ESKIMO JOE (Pop/Rock Session) and HOODOO GURUS (Premium Vintage Session) respectively while the outside areas are transformed into a winter wonderland of rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic music and more with fifteen of our globetrotting local heroes including ABBE MAY, SAN CISCO, SUGAR ARMY, BROW HORN ORCHESTRA, SPLIT SECONDS and much, much more.

To make it a true celebration for all WA music fans, the festival is open to all ages with licensed/18+ areas. Tickets are very affordable.

Each showcase costs only $20 + ticketing fees (under 18's) and $25 + ticketing fees (18+) and these tickets include access to the outside stages.

Tickets for access to the outside stages only are priced at $10 + ticketing fees (under 18's) and $15 + ticketing fees (18+).

State of the Art is an opportunity to experience, respect and celebrate the breadth and quality of our local musical exports.
