Perth BDO secures new home!

Today we are proud to announce that after two months of negotiation we have secured the perfect location to present the Big Day Out for 2012 and beyond.

"The Town is very excited to host the Big Day Out, it's a great event and McCallum Park on the Victoria Park foreshore is a beautiful location for it. There are still transport arrangements that need to be confirmed with the organisers and the Public Transport Authority and noise and parking regulations that need to be met. In conjunction with the town of Victoria Park we are working through the final details so the Big Day Out will continue to deliver the highest quality and safest festival in Australia. This process will also ensure that every appropriate measure is taken to minimize the impact of the event on the local community and environment. We now have a truly beautiful site, centrally located with grass and ample trees plus the Swan River and city skyline as the backdrop.

This is a new beginning for us and combining some of the world's great bands with a this beautiful location, we know this will be an incredible show.
