Immortally rising from the spirituality of immortal lands, Romanian folk/black metal band Negura Bunget began their journey through the universe of Black Metal in early 1995. Now after more than 15 years, a number of critically acclaimed albums (their 2006 album 'Om' was voted the #2 album of 2006 by Terrorizer magazine), and having performed at many of the biggest metal festivals in the world, the band is finally touring Australia this November!
Their latest album, Virstele pamintului (Ages of the Land/ Earth) is as the title suggests an album about ages, about places of the earth and places of the spirit, about bounds transcending worlds. It's an album about embracing your destiny, about choosing and consciously assuming a way of life. Negura Bunget is ready to unleash the power of their Black Metal, promoting its musical and spiritual vision and, as always... The Transilvanian Spirituality.
Negura Bunget will be headlining Sonic Forge Festival in Melbourne on November 26 and playing sideshows across the country in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra & Hobart!
