The Falls Music & Arts Festival Line-Up

The following acts are set to cut shapes, bend sounds and shift imaginations across, over and above The Falls Music & Arts Festival in Lorne:

At the forefront of the Australian hip-hop scene; Melbourne’s 360 is ready to hit Falls with a fresh new album Falling & Flying. Debuting at number four on the ARIA charts earlier this year, the album includes radio favourites such as “Killer” and “Just Got Started”.  Having just taken out the ‘Most Hunted’ gong at this year’s AIR Awards, he’s continually on the rise.

Bass Kleph, a Beatport and ARIA dance chart number one act and remixer can do it all. Working with talent like Wolfgang Gartner, Micky Slim, Mowgli and Hook N Sling; he’s proved his class across the dance floor circuit as one of the truly awesome live jamming DJ’s.

Acclaimed hip-hop producer Chasm is hitting the dance floor with his latest project Dr Don-Don. His recent single, “King of the Stars” has arrived and will be the perfect partner for parties across the country this summer.

Cementing his “one to watch” status, Hook N Sling has had a massive 2011; beginning with his breakout mix for Hard Rock Sofa & St Brothers, to collaborations with TV Rock, Sanchez and Will.I.Am. His recent release “Take You Higher” gives us an exciting taste of what we can expect on stage this summer.

English rapper and producer now based in Melbourne – Lotek, is the epitome of a jack-of-all-trades. His latest album International Rudeboy features guest appearances from Manuva, Jimmy Screech, Ricky Ranking, RuC.L, Ozi Batla, and Dialectrix. His single “The Rudest Dude” has been a hit on and off the dance floor.

Mic Newman & Tornado Wallace are the duo that played a huge role in putting Melbourne’s underground house music scene back on the map. Each with their own individual pursuits and successes they are teaming up again to now take on Falls.

As the voice and soundtrack to everyone's Saturday night on triple j's House Party, Nina Las Vegas never fails to blend crowd favourites with unexpected gems. She’s taking her massive collection of the world's coolest dance and indie tracks to Falls and is ready to really get the party started.

Northeast Party House’s debut self-titled EP was recorded in various beach houses, bedrooms and makeshift studios across Australia. Their live shows provide a slice of the psychedelic dance rock that will soon have crowds all over the country in the palm of their hands.

Oscar + Martin rose from the ashes of critically acclaimed indie band Psuche. The newly formed duo has crafted one of 2011's most revered debuts in For You. They’ve been busy on the road supporting everyone from Four Tet, CocoRosie and Gotye and will appear at Falls to round out their 2011 schedule.

Recently opening for the likes of The Rapture, Neon Indian and Marina and The Diamonds, Strange Talk have been on a lot of musical radars this year. Releasing their self-titled debut EP last April, which included the dance rock hit “Climbing Walls” its making waves both locally and internationally at a fast pace.

Known for their face melting live shows and nomadic lifestyles The Death Set have taken the art punk genre to the next level. From their Sydney origins to their Brooklyn base, their third album Michel Poiccard hit our shores last March and has been on high rotation across the country.
