Along with performing on Harvest Festival, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah has announced headline shows across the country.
Brooklyn and Philadelphia based, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah look set to burst back on to the scene with the release of their third – and finest - album "Hysterical" in September. Produced by studio veteran John Congelton (Modest Mouse & The Walkmen) The first single, Same Mistake, provides a taster of what to expect at their shows with undulating strings, and singer Alex Ounsworth’s angsty drawl.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah eponymous debut album in 2005 garnered the band not only some incredible reviews and a “Best New Music” nod from Pitchfork and Rolling Stone declaring them ‘Hot New Band’ it also found fans in the likes of David Bowie and David Byrne. They toured nearly non-stop, pausing only to quickly record 2007’s Some Loud Thunder before hitting the road once more. The band's charming songwriting and web popularity built them a worldwide cult fan base.
