Billions Australia presents

Recently announced to play Sydney's Homebake Music & Arts Festival and Meredith Music Festival in Melbourne, Grinderman now confirm headline shows in Perth and Adelaide.

The band will play Metropolis Fremantle in Perth on Monday December 5 and HQ in Adelaide on Thursday December 8. Both shows go on sale Friday September 2.

Grinderman released their critically acclaimed second album 'Grinderman 2' in September 2010. It was produced by Nick Launay together with the band's members Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Warren Ellis, bass player Martyn Casey and drummer Jim Sclavunos. The album debuted at No.9 on the ARIA album chart, No.38 on the US Billboard Charts and at No.14 in the UK. The follow up to their self-titled Top 15 ARIA album debut, the Courier-Mail called it '..even more unhinged than its predecessor."

The band was a ferociously notable performer on 2011's Big Day Out festival and headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne throughout January 2011.

Grinderman recently headlined the Portishead-curated I'll Be Your Mirror festival in London and the single 'Heathen Child', from Grinderman 2, won the MOJO Honours award for best song of 2011.

Nick Cave, founder of the seminal group The Birthday Party, and of course the leader of the Bad Seeds, continues to be one of the most adventurous and fearless creators in contemporary music.

Grinderman are Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey and Jim Sclavunos.
