Red Ant Touring presents JOSHUA RADIN Having been likened to folk legends Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith and Simon & Garfunkel, Joshua Radin has a lot to live up to, and by all accounts he does it with flair. Radin reminds people of “how powerful a song can be without punching you in an angry rock’n’roll frenzy,” and his self-depreciating humour and anecdotes between songs adds a personal touch to all his performances. Radin’s live shows tend to be a mixture of acoustic and full-band songs, but with or without accompaniment, Radin sings with a “profound and sincere set of vocals” that leave the audience speechless. His soulful honesty and genuine lyrics command your attention to the point where a pin drop can be heard as the audience collectively holds its breath. His music has been featured on such TV shows as Scrubs, Grey’s Anatomy and One Tree Hill as well as the soundtracks for actor and filmmaker Zach Braff’s films The Last Kiss and Catch and Release.
